Twenty odd years ago, Daniel Cannon was a handy, young man with a penchant for fixing, remodeling and constructing. What started out as a hobby, and then a side job, eventually became a thriving construction business and a successful career.

After a 12-year apprenticeship with a major, Central New Jersey construction company, Daniel decided it was time to put his own mark on the industry. In 1999, he founded DC Construction, headquartered in Raritan, New Jersey. Today, DC Construction has grown to become one of the area’s leading construction and remodeling companies.

DC Construction is a full-service construction company with expertise in the areas of full-home additions, kitchens and bathrooms, decking, basements and garages. Owner and Operator, Daniel Cannon, is on-site and involved in the entire process of your home’s project. DC Construction employs a team of master carpenters, plumbers and electricians. Each is an expert in his or her respective area, and collectively, they bring decades of experience to the job.

As Daniel has evolved in the construction business, he has never stepped away from the day-to-day aspect of each project. Your job will never be handed off, leaving you to guess who is the on-site manager. Daniel prides himself on "wearing the tool belt", which guarantees that he will be involved every step of the way -- without any shortcuts and always working at 110%. This hands-on approach is DC Construction’s trademark and what sets us apart from the rest.
